Must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree to apply to any of these programs. An applicant will also have to undergo an interview and evaluation by a screening committee of members of the faculty. An applicant will be admitted to the M.S. program if his/her baccalaureate degree is a B.S and applicants with a background in the social sciences or humanities will be admitted in the M.A. Program.
Documents required for Diploma in Archaeology, MA or MS admission application:
- Cover Letter
- Application Form
- Reference Form - from two (2) references; can be your former professor, mentor, or an archaeologist. This should be mailed directly to the UPSA Admin Office by the reference.
- Original copy of Official Transcript of Records

Diploma Certificate – Undergraduate, Diploma/MS/MA (whichever is applicable).
For verification purposes, please bring the ORIGINAL COPY of the Diploma Certificate.
- General Weighted Average (GWA) Certificate
- Recent 2 x 2 ID photo (taken within the last 6 months)
- Application Fee – details for payment will be given upon submission of requirements 1 to 7.
- For Filipino Citizens - Php 100
- For Foreign Nationals - USD 30
