Admission

Once you have finished your application and successfully passed your interview, you're required to submit a few more documents to be officially admitted to the School of Archaeology as a graduate student.

Filipino Accepted Applicants

  1. Two (2) copies of filled-out OUR Form 3 - Student Directory
  2. Original copy of PSA Birth Certificate
  3. Original copy of PSA Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
  4. Honorable Dismissal/Certificate of Transfer of Credentials from your previous university/college
    NOTE: Previous University/College should issue an Official Transcript of Records with remarks: "COPY FOR UP DILIMAN"
  5. Permit to Transfer – if previously enrolled in another graduate program within UP Diliman.
  6. Plan of Study – UPSA Admin Officer will coordinate with you regarding this.
  7. Medical Certificate from the UP Diliman Health Service – details to follow once updated guidelines are out.

Foreign/International Accepted Applicants

  1. Two (2) copies of filled-out OUR Form 3 - Student Directory
  2. Original copy of Foreign Birth Certificate
    For dual citizens: PSA Birth Certificate/Identification Certificate/Retention and Reacquisition of Philippine Citizenship
  3. Original copy of Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
  4. Apostille/Authenticated Official Transcript of Records and Diploma Certificate (Undergraduate, Diploma/MS/MA -  whichever is applicable)
  5. Photocopy of passport – stamped certified true copy by UPSA Admin Officer.
  6. If medium of instruction of previous University/College is NOT in English, TOEFL International Score Report with a minimum score of 500 if paper-based, 173 if computer-based, or 61 if internet-based or IELTS with a minimum score of 5.5.
  7. Medical and Travel Insurance – that can be used anywhere in the Philippines.
  8. Plan of Study – UPSA Admin Officer will coordinate with you regarding this.
  9. Study Permit from Office of International Linkages – Diliman (OIL-D)
  10. Medical Certificate from the UP Diliman Health Service – details to follow once updated guidelines are out.
  11. Student VISA – UPSA Admin Officer will coordinate with you regarding this.
