The Ceramics Lab is a research, teaching, and storage space for researchers interested in studying Philippine ceramics. We provide access to ceramic materials across various archaeological sites include those from previous fieldworks and fieldschools. The ethnoarchaeological collection throughout the Philippines is also growing, with studies focusing on Batangas, Bohol, Negros Oriental, and Kalinga potters.
We are indebted to the initial efforts of the late Professor Emeritus Wilhelm Solheim and the late Professor William Longacre, who championed the study of Philippine ceramics and ethnoarchaeology.
