I am interested in human-animal relations in the past, whether reflected as subsistence strategies or as changes in the local landscape and fauna due to intensifying human activities. I am also particularly interested in the taphonomy of faunal assemblages; taphonomic histories enhance our understanding of site formation processes, which is a prerequisite to answering questions regarding human subsistence and reconstructions of paleoenvironments.
