My name is Gabrielle "Gaby" Gascon and I am a Master’s student in Archaeology, specializing in Zooarchaeology, the study of archaeological faunal remains. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences (psychology, anthropology, and sociology) from UP Manila. For my Master's, I will study the zooarchaeology of large vertebrates from Munsayac Cave, Biak na Bato, Bulacan, and will explore subsistence strategies. I am the PR and Merchandise Manager of the UPSA Zooarch Lab. I am also the Director of Publicity for the UP Archaeological Society (ArchaeoSoc). 

My research interests are: zooarchaeology (large mammals and herpetofauna of the Philippines), experimental archaeology, taphonomy, subsistence, multiproxy paleoenvironmental reconstruction, and collections management.
